AJFC Player Registration - What Happens Next

Welcome to Abbotsford Juniors Football Club!  After successfully completing your player registration in the Dribl Registration system, your request will be submitted to Abbotsford Juniors Football Club for final review and acceptance. On acceptance of your registration by the Club, you will receive an email providing a summary of the information shown below.

Next Steps for New Players to Abbotsford Juniors Football Club
1. Your player registration fee includes a new playing kit (football jersey, shorts and socks) that will be supplied to all Abbotsford Juniors players in 2023.  This will be a full new playing kit including jersey, shorts and socks with new sponsors and logos.  You will need to provide your own shin-pads and soccer boots.

IMPORTANT NOTE: In 2023, player jerseys will be supplied by the Club directly to team coaches and managers for distribution to players within the team – they will not be ordered on an individual basis.  Please note that while a range of jersey sizes will be provided for each team, should a suitable size not be available, an exchange will be possible for an alternate size jersey on nominated dates and times at the Abbotsford Juniors Club House.

All player jerseys are to be collected and returned at the end of the year your team coach and manager.  A failure to do so may result in the player/parent assigned the jersey being charged the cost of the jersey by way of a fine.

Player shorts and socks will need to be ordered from the Abbotsford Juniors Club Store by all players.  Players will be able to order one free pair of shorts and socks (delivery fee applies) using a special discount code supplied to all registered players by the Club.

2. Abbotsford Juniors will work to assign existing players along with players who are new to the Club players to teams by early March.  Abbotsford Juniors will assist coaches and managers in coordinating additional discussions aimed at sourcing new players or balancing teams where there are too many players for a single team.  Once completed, the Club will then register the teams with Canterbury District Soccer Football Association for the up-coming season.

Where required, Abbotsford Juniors may decide to conduct team formation days for certain age groups or teams.  If and when the Club deems this necessary, dates and times for these days will be posted on the website and Facebook as well as emailed to those players/parents who have registered.
