Pitch Setup Schedule

The AJFC game day Pitch Setup and Pack-down and Ground Official Schedule will be published by 5pm Friday prior to the weekend throughout the competitive season.

AJFC Grand Finals Ground Official Schedule (31st August and 1st September 2024)

Small Sided Football Pitch Setup and Pack Down
Junior and Youth teams who are nominated for pitch setup should ensure that they arrive 30 minutes before their match start time to setup their pitch.  We recommend team managers secure 2 to 3 parents to assist with pitch setup and pack-up for each home game that the team is nominated.  Equipment for pitch setup (goals and nets, corner and half-way line posts) will be available from the AJFC Club House on game days.

AJFC Small Side Pitches Setup for Campbell Park and Lysaght Park

Teams nominated for pitch pack down must do so in a prompt manner as soon as the match is completed.  In most cases, other AJFC teams will be in the process of setting up our full size pitches in readiness for matches that follow.

Full Size Pitch Setup and Pack Down
Youth and Senior Teams nominated for pitch setup and pack down are responsible for the setup of their pitch and should arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled match start time to ensure pitch setup is completed.  We strongly recommend team managers secure 2 to 3 parents to assist with pitch setup and pack down for each home game the team are nominated.

Trolleys for Campbell Park Field 1, Campbell Park Field 2, Campbell Park Field 3 and Lysaght Park Field 1 are available from the AJFC Club Shed with all the required equipment for the setup of the pitch.  It is critical that prior to the match starting, all full size pitches have the following setup completed:

    - That the field is properly roped off ensuring that the goals and technical areas are enclosed;
    - That goal nets are affixed in place (or moved correctly in to place;
    - That corner and half way flags are in place; and
    - That benches for both teams and match officials have been placed in the technical area.

Please download our AJFC Game Day Pitch Setup Guide for detailed instructions on how to setup and rope pitches on game days.

Your team may be reported by the referee and penalised by Football Canterbury Association if this is not completed correctly.  If you are missing ropes or any other equipment for pitch setup, please speak to a Club official at the AJFC Club Shed or the Campbell Park Canteen immediately.

Teams nominated for pitch pack down should ensure that all equipment is placed in the trolley for their respective pitch and returned to the Club House.

Please see the Club Official at the AJFC Club Shed or Campbell Park Canteen in the event of any questions or issues on game days.
