Under 8 and Under 9 Laws of the Game Briefing Session
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to low interest and attendance, this session has been rescheduled to Friday 23rd April 2021.

This session is a 15 to 20 minute briefing on the rules of football that apply to the Under 8 and Under 9 age groups as part of the 2021 Football Season aimed at parents and carers of players in this age group.

As Official Referees are not supplied by the Canterbury Referee's Association for the majority of Under 8 and Under 9 football matches during the season, parents are regularly asked to act as a Game Leader for these games. The session aims to assist anyone who may be asked and is willing, to take on this important task (note: Coaches need to coach their players; not act as a Game Leader).  The session will also provide a number of simple tips on how to make the experience for kids playing in these age groups, a pleasant and enjoyable one.
The session will be held at the Campbell Park Community Hall (Bibby Street, Chiswick) starting promptly at 7.00pm, Monday 19th April 2021.
We hope to see many of you there in person.
Kind regards,
The AJFC Committee

P.S. For those parents who's child is playing for the first time, the Mini-Roos National Playing Formats and Rules are a great place to start!
